Q House

Q House seems contradictory at first glance. The south facade is on the road, although traffic was expected. All openings in the common rooms are oriented so off the street. In order to illuminate the rooms face south, the architects used a spatial Trick: The bathroom on the first floor opens to generous roof, kitchen and bedrooms receive daylight through the lateral incision innenhofartigen of the house. This at first glance hardly open house created by the incision and not visible from the street opening a pleasant light atmosphere.
The internal organization is on a split-level system. The split-level floor space and avoid allowing open space relationships. A central area around which organizes the staircase serves as a cellar on each floor replacement and more efficient distribution of building services systems.
