In the spring of 2008, the Technische Werke Kaiserslautern, the U.S. real estate in Vogelweh began on the water supply of the city tied. One of the focal points should be at the Vogelweh-leaf clover. The space requirements were determined by technical criteria, which led to a considerable volume. Since the project would be due to an exposed location, the building to get a special design and contribute to the other smaller. The central idea was to design a city sculpture, to give the entrance to the city of Kaiserslautern start building. The facade design is modeled on a camouflage pattern, the so-called Dazzle-Paint, which will be distracted by the stripes of high contrast from the actual volume of the building. Thus, the zebra pattern creates a high level of attention to the passers-by the sculptural effect of the building falls, but the actual size and purpose of the buildings no longer as significant.
