Over 20 years of the listed barn and barn building Tönnishof was left to decay before it was renovated and transformed into an architectural workshop. The building was formerly the eastern part of about four times as large square courtyard and stable area, which, with the family villa Tönnis connected. After the task of the court acquired Prof. Gerber in 1978, first only the villa, which he then restored and used as an architectural office and residential building. In 1985, the addition of the Villa was followed by a modern house cultivation. The restoration of stable building now Teilbauten rounded edges and secures the entire remaining stock of Tönnishof. The exterior of the building completely gutted house remained intact, with its ornate brick facade and was restored to its original condition. At the termination of the transverse wing of the "wounded" point was a simple, cubic building, which houses the entrance and stairwell.
