The former Postbank building in the center of the city of Hamburg has been converted into a hotel with 242 rooms and suites and several meeting and banquet rooms. In the basement there is an extensive wellness area. In the as "Canyon" shaped pool, the water is replaced by the exclusive lighting from below its value. Continuous design concept of the hotel, besides the apparent orientation to the function (Congress Hotel), the creation of zones of reflection without overloading the structure, color and effects. Grays dominate the color scheme in a whole range of the house and produce in the canon with concentrated light and shadow zones unexpected warmth. The extremely spacious layout of the rooms in the suites did particularly the implementation of an open type of bathroom - there is now the residence to the spa part of hotel life.
