The outdoor sports store Alpine base is spread over two floors with many small-scale areas. Since the areas for structural reasons could not be joined together, a design concept was developed that generated a lot of different areas. These are joined on the total sales area by the central design element of a laminated timber construction as "abstract translation" of a cliff. The design extends to the changing rooms in "forest atmosphere."
