Office as a stage

Going past the Gründerzeitbau in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, the architecture appears behind the large window areas like a theater stage, not like a traditional office situation. The viewer misses the usual office furniture, because the tables are like conveyor belts in the structure involved and therefore no longer recognizable as a table.
One enters the building through a simple black steel door and is located in a room with the floor plan of a Penta Grams. The floor is made of epoxy resin acts like a black reflecting surface of water and leaves the two-story space seem even higher. If you stand in the middle of the pentagram, interesting perspectives emerge on the two wings of the space and the jobs that are arranged on two levels. In the lower part of the gallery provides an indirect lighting such as in an airplane cabin for an unusual atmosphere. The tables and all other furniture is custom made internals. Even the lighting has been specially built for the office, since it takes up the table dimensions. All four levels of offices are reached by a staircase in the middle of the room. The staircase is with its dramatic flights of a stage situation. The clear layout of the rooms, the simplicity of the details, the reduction of the color to black and white and the clear graphic design ensure that the office cleaned up, despite a small area and many people and at the same time stimulating effect.
