"The most beautiful landscape I have ever seen," wrote Franz Kafka in 1920 to his girlfriend Jesenska. He meant the valley which forms the entrance to the Passeiertal, Vinschgau and the Adige valley and Merano in the South Tyrol's second largest city, and his neighborhood is embedded.
Homage to the city history

The medieval castle town of Regensberg located on the eastern foothills of the Jura mountains. On a parcel at the western end of Regensberg, on a sloping hillside to the south, L3P architects built with the architect Frank Schäfer a residential building of 40 meters in length.
Room penetrations

The construction area near the center in the Swiss village Rothrist, the architects put their Alberati housing is characterized by a heterogeneous structure without any new urban order and by the tree-lined waters of the natural space Pfaffneren that flows in Rothrist in the River Aare.

On a very steep slope and is therefore deemed unsuitable for existing detached house this property was built in wood frame construction. Above the concrete base stacked four living and sleeping levels, each with about 35 m² of space to a "tower" of each other.
